I like your keyboard, but I find your sig vile and unsophisticated.
The sig is just trying to get a laugh out of people :).

You should have bought the G7 mouse instead. Corded laser mice are so "2001."
I considered it, but the keyboard is wired, so it was kind of pointless to spend the extra money for a wireless mouse. What good is cutting away one wire when there is still one being ran?

You should have bought the wireless keyboard. Corded keyboards are so "1989."
LOL. Nicely put, but I couldn't imagine the battery drain if they made a wireless version of the G15.

Blurred shot your vile attempt to crap in his thread down 3 times!

Nice work, I would have argued back after the second time, maybe even the first..... Yeah probably the first.

My priorities are what I care most about in this life :D.

I'll update this post with impressions now that I've used the stuff for 3 days later tonight.

I thought the LCD graph for CPU was defective as it bursts in lines that don't fill the graph. Turns out there is a line for each CPU! There are four lines on mine. :)

That's pretty neat now that I figured it out. :)

People Like me hate to change batteries on something that should be pluged in, that is why i have a desktop and not a laptop. It makes sence on a Home Theater PC but I cannot see any pont to having or using a battery powerd keyboard and mouse on a desktop.

So this feature works with all cores, not just the new dual core CPU's?

I am currently running dual HT enables Xeons, so would i also have 4 lines, one for each CPU core, or simulated core as it may be.

Yes you will have four lines on a dual Prestonia or higher Xeon. :)

Windows 2003 Server is not supported on the software I am told.

The line is four pixels tall. I actually wish it wasn't like this because it looks broken especially when just one core is doing all the work. DVD Shrink will get them all in action, however. :)

most of us like wireless mice because theres no cord drag. it bugs some people. it drives me nuts because i can feel it. and no i doubt most people get wireless so they can sit on a couch or something, they tend to exist right beside the wired kb. no contradiction there at all. the idea of wireless kb is the really overrated one erally. its for sticklers for neatness and such because in actual practice typing on your lap or farther away from the screen isn't practical at all.

the lit keys are nice:) but i'm waiting for a ergo version

The back lit keys look nice but the keyboard is too bulky/ design isn't to my tastes :p I'm not one for too many keys. I just like the simple keyboards with less buttons :p

ok Here are my qustions...

The G5 is a laser mouse. Now, when you lift it up(I do it alot by the way) does this one disconnect like the mx1000 and take a couple secs to track back? Cause I will not like that at all cause it will get me killed.

About the keyboard, how much was it and how nice does it type?

RE: The laser mouse.

The G5 is nothing like the MX1000 in regards to delay when it's put back down on the table. It's instant just like the MX510/518. It seems to track better than the former mice on wool socks, for example. :)

Too bad your G15 isn't a natural ergonomic keyboard like the MS ones, otherwise i'd be all over it.

I don't know what you mean by "take a couple secs to track back". My MX1000 has no lag, wakes up instantly, and when lifted off the table it resumes tracking just before it touches again.

That looks pretty nice! Especially the LCD with CPU usage graphs and stuff - that could be really useful in games, I imagine. I kind of do wish there were a cordless version, but then again, I probably really don't need to upgrade from my Cordless Elite keyboard anyway (I think that's what it's called - the one that comes in the MX Duo). I really like the idea of on-the-fly adjustable sensitivity on the mouse though - that would be a godsend in FPS games (increase sensitivity for normal playing, decrease for sniping and other precise aiming). I hate that they removed the second mouse button though, I use both of my MX700's side buttons all the time. :(

I will still be thinking about picking up the G7 at some point though, if my MX700 keeps acting strange or if I just feel like spending money. :p
