So I was just playing my newly renovated drums a bit, stopped and went back to the NEF thread and low and behold a hurricane of activity erupts in my next door neighbors driveway.
Car comes in at 45 degrees I hear yeling and screaming and people sound like they are about ready to kill each other.
Contemplate getting the Colt .357 Magnum out to investigate after a second car pulls into my driveway.
I think better of that one, just get out my phone and go into my driveway, the people in mine say they were going to call 911, I tell em I all ready have and they take off.
First car takes off I'm stuck with a young 17 black woman all out of odds standing there looking lost as hell.
I brought her back and was talking to 911 at that point, I guess she had been at a safe house until recently, and she said her step dad and mother had been drinking, and he was strangling her, got me I didn't see anything before I got out there.
Was enough that other cars had started to pull over I guess.
I settled her down, even got her a cig as I needed one myself by the time she was calm enough to get on 911, they even had to ask me if I trusted her to get on the phone as she was so wound up in the background I had to put a finger in one ear at one point.
The cop got here finally a few mintues after I brought her in the house finally after about 5 minutes and the wife had finally gotten back up. Her parents were back again parked off the side and she was worred about going out with them there, he was parked away from them and said he wanted her to get in with him, I told her she should just go with the officer, and not even look that way atm.
Stressing a bit atm myself, just relaxing again, things are odd all over I guess.
She seemed like a nice girl. but I know nothing at all about her I suppose.
