Just got wheel mouse. Cant stop using scroll bar. AArRRGGGH!!

Im afraid that I wont get used to using the wheel. Am I being unecessarily worrysome?

Its a sweeeeet mouse though, MMMMmmmmm optical.

why the hell does the wheel have "notches" and not a smooth motion? That is really stupid I think.

You'll get used to it, believe me I've been using GUIs for... 10 years now and I picked up on the wheel after about a month of having a wheel mouse.

What'll REALLY annoy you is when you use another system without a wheel, and you try to scroll..

Yeah jus give it time...once in a while i still go to the scroll bar though just out of habit.

Trust me you want the notches! The logitech ones have a smoothe wheel but you can still feel the clicks as you scroll down

i like crotchless, er, notchless... and a wheel that does not depend on scrolling lines... since it screws with horizontal scrolling big time.

don't worry, you don't have to use the wheel all the time.

Yeah, I'm one of those people.

Like everyone else before me has said, you'll get used to the wheel and will love it.

I love the wheel. It is one of the greatest UI inventions of all time; perhaps second only to the QuickLaunch toolbar but that is software and the wheel is of course hardware.

I cannot stand a mouse without a wheel; or worse, a mouse that has a sticky wheel.

I need a wheel, I can't live without it anymore. Scroll bars suck! A wheel is especially good for FSP games too.

I'm always using my wheel. Each notch is supposed to equal a certain amount of lines to scroll down.
