WOW :Q Best game i've ever played, silky smooth framerates, and amazing online gameplay, anyone else here play it? I know what i've been missing now! 🙂

I can't wait until they release Action UT2003. Have any of you ever played Action Quake II or Action Half-Life? Best...games...ever... 😀

Hi, there are a ton of newly released ,Mods , Mutators, and high quality maps also.

What's the best one in your experience? I still have yet to find something that matches Action Quake...it was so realistic and fun to play. You have to be hardcore to like it though, the graphics are so 90's. 😀

I think it has excellent, EXCELLENT graphics considering how it performs.... I can't say they're 90's graphics AT ALL. I also run it at 1600x1200 with 4xAF so who knows 😛

Right now I'm into Excessive Overkill and Jailbreak.🙂 I'm looking forward to Troopers and Red Orchestra in the future, each mod being almost 500 MB's it is like a completely new game. lots of value IMO.😀

I hate to remind people, but that graphics engine is two years old.

.....which is why Epic > All.

my name is "Ace-Lebaron" if any of you are ever on, o yea haha some people were arguing over video card over their mics while I was playing invasion mode, I told them to come here 🙂

He was talking about Action Quake, not Unreal 2k4!

p.s: is this the right forum to talk about games? I think the software forum is better😕

Red Orchestra is an Eastern Front WW2 mod; it does have a fairly high learning curve because the development team is incredibly dedicated to realism. It is the best Multiplayer i've ever played because it demands you learn team work. All Rambo's die very quickly. I would encourage anyone who wants to play to drop by:

The download is huge, but really worth it if you're tired of the more frenetic pace of most shooters.

And on the frenetic side, my other two faves are Frag Ops (Counter-Strike-ish) and Troopers: Dawn of Destiny (Star Wars). they are both done well too, but not as well IMHO.

I'm a huge fan of the UT series (my bread and butter was the original UT - I played that for about 5 years after it's release off and on), and I really liked the UT 2k4 demo.

I'd love to play the full version, but sadly a nagging shoulder injury is preventing me from playing PC games (the mouse usage is killer for me). Hopefully I get over this nonsense soon, I'd love to get back into the frag action!

i think deathball is one of the front runners for the make something unreal contest if i'm not mistaken....they've made it into 3rd round and i've heard it's an absolute riot

if it aint broke...........dont fix it ....ut engine definately aint broke......hell the original UT engine aint broke....thats still a whole lotta fun!

Get into UT2k4 Mapping, it'll soak up more time than Playing! The User Made maps being made for UT2k4 are excellent, many are better than the Retail maps IMO.

You're not kidding about the learning curve 🙂 I'm a pretty proficient MoH player, but this game is tough! They did a great job with the models and maps for sure, but getting the feel of how to play the game and even getting into one is a little on the steep side.

I?m all for realism, but I think they went a wee bit to far with no crosshair 😉 I haven?t given up playing though, I?ll get the hang of it soon or later.
