Got the same. Selected Advanced RMA option but the link to the Credit Card Authorization form is basically dead..."You do not have access to this page!".

Noticed the link had a field for Case Number which was empty, maybe it's related to that. Anyway, I emailed them and we'll see how quickly they respond since I'm sure it's a universal issue.

I am on HOLD right now to see what is up with that...

Same problem. Found this thread on Google search. Any updates? Anybody able to access it and can post a copy here?

Just hung up after being on hold about 20 mins, they are aware and said to check back in the morning...

It's working for me now. Assuming we don't all have the same Case ID and it was assigned sequentially, I was in the first 50 which is nice 🙂

yeap, its working now.

Although site is down:

"Due to heavy traffic, our site is currently unavailable, please try again later.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

I signed up for the notifications when they first posted this page, but they haven't emailed me yet. Wonder if they're mailing it based on who signed up for the notifications first?

I might get mine replaced at Micro Center where I bought it. They were hinting at $25 store credits for our inconvenience. That would be helpful in paying gas/tolls for the trip, so that I can get another combo.

I just got the e-mail today and the Credit Card Authorization Form is also down for me at the moment.

Anomaly1964, did you just call them and get a form directly or did you just try back at another time?

Tried clicking on the form link many times last night and it kept giving me the "You are not authorized to view this page" error. Did you have to e-mail them to get the form, or just click on the link?

Edit: nevermind, just saw Anomaly1964's message.

This is just like Day 1 of SandyBridge where I ordered at Microcenter, then they decided to screw my order and only allow walk ins. Everyone was frantic that there would be a huge shortage for weeks or months, if you were to read all the breathless posts on AT. Within a week or 10 days, all the MCs were stocked again and weren't even selling out.....

you'll all get your boards....just the initial rush of people bogging it down.

I'm trying to figure out if there is any opportunity to glimpse Z68 before my return window on P67 expires, so I might not be the "early adopter" on an exchange.

I'm kinda waiting on that too, wondering if some of the other late coming p67 boards will hit before my full refund option is out the window

I havent even registered my board yet. I guess I will have to now.

Does anyone know how long the window will be open? I bought through the egg by the way...

Newegg was 90days from date of PURCHASE. For me, that equals late April. As of now, it appears Z68 Chipsets will begin shipping from Intel in MAY, which means the actual mobos will probably be JUNE.

Good and bad.....good is that I can get my fixed P67 board sooner than promised....bad is that it therefore appears I won't have any overlapping window to get a Z68. Only option would be to return the P67 and then pull my old 2005 Dell up from the basement for a couple of months and bring him out of retirement..........

I guess that is an option. I'd like to know if, for example, my Z68 ASRock Extreme 4 is going to be significantly more expensive than my P67 Extreme 4 that I have now. Maybe if its only a 6 week wait and its not much more $, its something to consider in order to get SSD caching sometime down the road. Other option is to just stick with P67 for now, wait to make sure Z68 is all-that, and then Ebay my P67 board for $100 later this year and pay up to get the Z68. Or if Z68 isn't much different, then don't bother.

I hate going backwards though.....moving back to the 2005 Dell.....doesn't feel right

I thought we could through Newegg OR manuf (ASUS)?

Mine is ASRock, not ASUS. Perhaps you can do a direct exchange with ASUS too....not sure what is the benefit of going direct to mfr----is it that you can get it first before even Newegg gets stocked up? The benefit of Newegg is that you can just return it outright. I don't think you can call ASUS and say "gimme my money back, period". I'd assume ASUS is just going to exchange your board for a new ASUS board. Thru Newegg gives more options, like switching to a different model # or manufacturer.

Looks like my advanced RMA has processed through - they assigned an RMA number, received my credit card authorization, and I have my return shipping label. Any idea what their shipping method will be?

Edit: Shipped out 2 day (no Saturday 🙁) so I expect my replacement on Monday. Good thing I got my new CPU cooler delivered last week.

Got an email from Newegg, it looks like they are automatically handling the process. Sounds like an easy situation.

Got my email today with return shipping labels to use with Fed-ex...

So hopefully my motherboard ships in a few days...
