just got a couple off ebay for cheapp LOL..not sure which i should use
i decided instead of replacing my expensive phone which got stolen why not buy some older ones, for way cheaper which are prolly less likely to be broken, or if they get stolen im out a couple bux (literally 🙂 )
so here's what i got:

im leaning towards the flip because its smaller, but from what iv been told that big phone IS UNBREAKABLE..aka ppl have tried throwing it off building and driving over it ect. w/no luck LOL..plus it seems to have a little bit of a better signal (both of these actually get a better one than my old phone did..figures)

so lets get some input on the situation 😎

btw..these are the biggest cell's iv seen in YEARS lmao

The "candy bar" style phones were neigh-indestructible. We've got one that's over three years old, and it's been dropped, battered, beaten, and cooked. It's still working just fine. (it is, admittedly, a Nokia.)
If you've got an extra working phone that can be used with Cingular Wireless, I might buy it from you.

I tried to use an old school motorola and the network wouldnt accept it (when i was on Vz) was a no go because of the fact that it didn't have 911 gps stuff.

Heh, I use to have the i1000 when I was on Nextel. My gf had the yellow phone, the i700 I think. She just got rid of hers back in June when we couldn't find a decent handsfree unit for it. I brought her over to Cingular, and she couldn't be happier.

I've owned both before. IMO you can't go wrong with either one. My buddy used to have i700plus in yellow and that thing took one hell of beating and it kept on working. I traded in my i1000 a while back for an i730.

old school? Hell, I thought you were going to be talking about the super-sized brick phones used in Magnum PI or Miami Vice. Or one of those old car phones that took up the entire middle of the front section.

these phones are about 5 years old!
and i actived the i1000 plus this morning NP..ill use it for a few days and then try the brick
ill find out if its TDMA

battterylife/signal seems to be better than my i830 on both of the phones LOL
