Just got some new speakers and.....

I just got my new speakers (Logitech Z-680s) delivered and damn do they kick ass.

The only sucky thing is now that I don't have crappy speakers anymore all my 128 KB MP3s sound like ass. Even the 192's don't sound near as good as right off the CD.

Small price to pay I guess

hmm i have z560's i dont think i notice a differance, i think it might be psycological? like the numbers make you think it sounds better?

i dont think u could tell 192kbps from 320kbps? i know i cant

i was considering getting those because i want to save on desk space and get rid of my existing stereo receiver and CD player.
might just get some comp. speaks like those and move the other parts elsewhere.

320 from newegg. Decent price but the best part was the free shipping (these things weight a TON) and I had just ordered on MOnday

People with really nice speakers always complain about the poor audio quality of CD's. Imagine the difference when we finally get Audio DVD's with true 24 bit/96 recording resolution instead of the 16 bit / 44 or 48 used now!

I know I have listened to some music in this higher resolution recorded in native 5.1 format and it is just awesome when then computer is hooked up to my home theater speakers.
