just got new Klipsch for my comp?

Actually, i just ordered a new sub for my Klipsch 5.1 Ultras because my other subs died. how do i break it in?

That's ~110db. Don't listen at full volume for more than a minute or so unless you want permanent hearing loss. A great way to break them in? Do you mean what music to play? Or what game to play? First of all, do you have a soundcard that can take advantage of such hardware?

I have a Game THeater XP, but the left channel is broken, so im gonna order an Audigy 2.

so just play loud music for a while?

The Klipsch subs are known for being fragile to electrical change.

If you haven't already, make sure your speakers are plugged into a UPS. That'll protect you from both brownouts and surges.

Keep the speakers powered off unless you are planning to actually use them.

You don't need to break them in. You may want to see what their range is, though, to annoy anyone within a 2 block radius. They are built with limiters in them, so in theory, you shouldn't be able to blow the cones.
