Just got myself a white iPhone 4.

LOL, this thread has gotten 2 pages deep since I last posted.
I will refrain from replaying to all these jabs because it will just start a flame war.

Despite all the negative remarks, the white version is indeed very popular.
It carries a $200-300 premium vs the black counter part.
Just do a search on Ebay.
This kid made oodles of money selling the white conversion kit.

The reason why I got one ??
I travel back to Vietnam alot.
Last time I was there, I brought a couple of unlocked IP4 with me and I sold one of them for $900 and this was in November.
Lets just say iPhone are very popular(and a big status symbol) there as Apple do not sell them there so all iPhones are brought in.
Unlocked iphones are selling for >$600 right now on CL.
I happenned to get this white one for $600 unlocked which is a bargain.
The Vietnamese will go gaga for a white iPhone.
And I'm not going to BS about the fact that I also got it because it does gather alot of attention....especially from women.
 
Now, in 10 years if you have a new in package never opened white iPhone, it might be worth a lot as a collectors item.

To me this is like the Black and Red Wii...what's the point?

Oh yeah, sell more to suckers. As long as mine isn't hot pink, I don't care. I want black electronics in the theater room (less light reflection), but other than that, I don't care.

The black & red Wii's don't cost any more, and if you want your console to match the rest of your components in your HT setup you're probably gonna need a black Wii, I haven't seen too many receivers & Blu Ray players that are white. *shrug*

take another picture... this time, with proper white balance! Black will look black no matter what balance that's in! White, needs real proper white balance!
 
you know what... i'll do it, and try to make it as even as possible!

his lighting is incadescent/tungsten lighting, which makes his balance probably way off... he's probably shooting way too hot... like 4000k+ when he needs to cool it down to somewhere closer to 2300k

oh, i desaturated the background to take attention away from the background!
