just got my wisdom teeth out on monday

i can tell that there are stitches there, but do they use dissolvable ones? i would assume that they are because the doctor didnt say anything about coming back to get them removed or anything.. just wondering if any of you might know since im sure many of you have had this done. thanks 🙂
 
Some dentists use the dissolving ones & some don't. I guess you will find out if you have to go back to the dentist in a week or so.

Mine were dissolving ones. They were flapping around for a little but eventually I guess I swallowed them.

yeah i kept them.. theyre disgustingly huge.. and then ones a little baby one its kind of odd.

anyway i had to go back in this morning cause apparently i have dry sockets (fun fun) and i asked, they are dissolvable 🙂
 
I was @ the dentist yesterday...

The lady in the room next to was getting 2 teeth pulled. She asked to keep them. The dentist asked what she would do with them, and she replied that she was going to use them for a necklace...:shocked:


WTF is wrong with some people...😕

call your dentist/surgeon and ask. he/she should have told you if they were dissolvable, or at least had the assistant tell you the status.
