Just got my third cookware set. . .

I bought a cookware set in 1992. It had a lifetime warranty. In 1995, it started having issues. I boxed it up per warranty and sent it back - the company sent me another brand new set - updated model.

This one started having issues in 1999 - sent it back - got another set. That set lasted till I noticed some of the non-stick flaking just recently. I boxed it up - sent it back - and just got a new set again - also an updated model 🙂

do you need to keep your receipt to get them to cover warranty or do you just need the box and warranty papers that come with the set?

 

What is "having issues"? Just the teflon coating peeling off?

I just kept the original receipted and the warranty paper that came in the box. I've got it scanned into a file on cd with some other stuff. I just print it out and drop it in the box with a short note.

Pretty much. I don't use metal either - just it seems to wear after a while, especially if you are a prolific cook like I am.
