Camry is a family car. *shrug* Doesn't make it bad, just weird to put rims on it.
actually your right, it is kinda weird but i've been checking out the camrys on cardomain.com and they look great with rims

also my car is black so i think gunmetal rims would look pretty kool. Im going for that slightly clean cut blacked out look without ricing it out
Gunmetal wheels do look good on black cars, post some pics when you can.

if the rim size is different, you should get your speedometer recalibrated. I'm not sure if this is true or not but I know my friend got pulled over a couple times when he put bigger rims on his Jeep and the cop asked him if the were stock rims/tires.

WTF does a cop care if the wheels are stock?

because he was trying to be helpful to my friend. When my friend, said no they are not stock, the cop informed him he should get his speedometer recalibrated because he was obviously going faster than he thought he was if the speedometer was calibrated for the stock wheels and now he has bigger wheels.

Except that wheel size doesn't really matter. Tire size does. 😉

My speedometer reads ~7% slower than I'm actually traveling -- stock wheels, but larger tires.

thanks for the quick responses guys, i feel more comfortable now

actually everybody has this misconception about the camry, thinking its just a family car.
Im actually 22 years old and its a great car for me. I tink after about 2003, they started making the move from midsize sedans to a full size sedan(my model). Its quite nice, and ill put pics maby later on tonight or tommorow. I have the car in black and it looks great and even if it doesnt, Enkei rims have great resell value anyway.

Thanks again

When you get a tire rotation; do you have to get the tires remounted and rebalanced? The only reason that I ask is the third pic that shows direction or rotation

You can't rotate them side to side. Only front to rear. My Maxima is the same way.

Our IS250 you can't rotate the tires at all. They are unidirectional and the rear wheels are wider than the fronts.
