Awesome card...came with a real heavy duty copper heatsink, 2 fans, and even LED's on the fans.

It's OC'd out of the box, AND I was easily able to unlock the 4 remaining pipes on it.

life is good with bfg. i have a 6800gt and i am very happy - bfg is really cool (but i chose the reference cooling over the blue 2 fan one)
 
I'm happy with my BFG 6800 OC as well. 4 Extra pipelines and the extra vertex shader unlocked no problem. 🙂 But I may be in the market of upgrading the heatsink with a Zalman VF700.

I've been enjoying mine too. $149 AR from that Fry's sale doing 16 pipelines 6 vertex shaders and 390/840. What a deal. 😎

My only complaint is that the cooler is a bit noisier than I'd like. I can hear it over everything else in my system when it's not under load.

I'm using the Zalman VF700-Cu after the original Arctic Cooling POS attached to my Galaxy started making horrible noise.

The Zalman is keeping everything cool and is very quiet, extremely happy with purchase 😀
 
so i should go with the zalman? not the nv silencer 5? i can't decide... case has okay airflow plus you get ramsinks for the ram with zalman.
 
I like DHES and I've had good luck with Arctic Cooling products. I'm planning on getting an ATI Silencer for my X800XL.

neonerd, aside from ASUS BFG makes the best NVidia cards. Good choice. :thumbsup:
 
Happy with my BFG6800oc.

1. At Stock speed (350/700) and no softmod (12/5) 3dm05 @ 3914

2. At stock speed (350/700) and softmod (16/6) 3dm05 @ 4329

3. At modest OC (375/750) and softmod (16/6) 3dm05 @ 4555

P.S. - Free & safe 641 points, gotta love it!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
