I think animeigo is actually acquiring the rights to Mospeada, and are going to do the same thing they did for Macross with that. 😀

The very same. I've got one disc left. I'm kind of sad to see it end....I found the characters and story lines to be very memorable and the music is great (except the "My Boyfriend is a Pilot" song gets VERY old VERY quickly.

The liner notes in the set are great, too.

Why on God's green earth would you watch Macross 7. That is the most painfull thing that has ever been put to film. I watched it untill the Dude in the red plane pulled out a guitar and "out sang" the enemy. WTF is tha sh!t?

I think it is. I didn't know too much about Macross, I just knew a bunch of people who said it was a good series so I signed up for the pre-order like almost 2 years ago! I kinda just forgot about it. I'd get a periodic update from Animeigo occasionally saying they were still working.
Then one day I got a message that said "We just billed you $240. happy landings."

Oops.

So I was nervous b/c I just dropped so much on something I knew little about, but I have to say it was money well-spent, having looked at all the stuff and watched most of the series.
