vlad, I have a very serious problem believing that.

Silverback has the fastest system on the planet right now. Unless you use a peltier to cool a GTS-U + Athlon to get over 1.4 GHz + GTS-U @ 300/525 or something, you won't hit 10k

of course, this *IS* 3dmark2k, so who the hell knows.

I have a Samsung 753DF/Geforce2 GTS combo, and I don't see the bluryness you all speark of. (1024/768/32/85khz).

Don't try and tell me im used to it either because i use G400's at school, ATI cards, and V3's.
I will agree the matrox cards are the best, but I dont see why you guys dot like the 2d of nvidia, it aint bad.

When you think about it, his machine is one giant waste of money. Our systems probably wont even touch it in terms of fps speed, but we can still play all the games we want at decent resolutions and that is all that matters to me. Plus, i prob. spent half of what he did on my system. overall i am happy with my system and i wont be upgradin it for a long time.

I don't see the big deal. at 1280x1024 the Ultra might get an extra 12fps over the GTS. The Ultra really hauls ass at resolutions beyond 1600x1200, but who really runs at that resolution anyway? I prefer a more modest 1280x1024 or even 1024x768. You can actually see what is on the screen.

I could certainly find better things to waste $500 on, but if someone were to give me an Ultra for free, I'd take it for sure.

@ 1024, nor did I. It was @ 1280 and 1600 where my GTS looks pretty $hitty (Actually, 1600 just plain sucks, blah.....

that being said, unless that biznatch Ultra doesn't have better 2d quality than my last 3 nvidia cards, I wouldn't want it. i AIN'T trading in my damn Trinitron!!!! however, that Athlon....
