It can be removed real easy. In the GBA and GBA SP all the screws are annoying "tri-wing" style that are hard to remove without the proper driver. However the one that keeps the battery in the bottom compartment is a standard phillips. The battery would be easy to replace.

Good question!

BTW I am looking to buy some GBA games in FS/FT forum if anyone wants to sell theirs ;)

Do you know if you can trade-in two old GBAs for one SP at EB? Or do they only do a one-to-one trade-in?

Hmm.. Good question. I know they take almost anything in for in-store credit. I don't see why not.

Most of us only had I GBA though.

I bought one for me and one for my wife for a roadtrip. We don't play it enough to have two so I thought it would be a good idea to replace them with the SP.

It comes with a TV tuner???

No, on the old GBA you could buy one that would fit it and the GBA would become a TV.

Ah ok. If the new GBA SP came with a built in TV tuner I'd buy one in a heart beat.

Thank you.

Update:

I am playing golden sun over again. So far the battery is working GREAT. I know I have at least 8 hours on it since I completely charged it up.

Yes.

To manage my save games, I use a utility called 'little writer' instead of the normal one.. It makes it alot easier to save and restore games. That is how I played Golden Sun before I bought it.
you didnt happen to get into the littlewriter 1.0.7.0 beta did you? I find pogoshell is the best to handle saves on my xtreme cart.
