I'm doing this too, I can help a bit... (seniors correct me if I'm wrong 🙂 )
To connect the L1 bridges, use a pencil, go over them a few times, connecting the top to the bottom... do not connect all 4 together 😉
See if it boots at normal speed. then I just bumped up the multi by .5 each time I was stable, I haven't had to adjust the voltage. yet.
Then you can tweak the speed once you've reached your max using multipliers settings using the bus speeds... but this could easily result in loss of stability since the bus speed affects the agp clock, pci clock, memry speed, etc...
