What are all the must own games? I am already looking at getting New Super Mario,Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart. Any other must haves besides those?

IMO, you can skip Mario 64 DS. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Advance Wars, and Tetris are all winners.

I'll second Castlevania: DoS. I think it may be hard to find now though. The Mario Kart game is good too... it has a mix of tracks from the SNES, N64, and Game Cube Mario Kart games as well as original tracks.

Brain Age FTW! I have played Mario Kart more than any game in the past 5 years. My ritual, before bedtime, is to curl up under the covers and race someone online before I go to sleep.

Good luck finding Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. It is out of production right now and I can't find it anywhere. :(

Yep.

New Super Mario Bros is a must and Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow was great.

Mario Kart isn't that much fun anymore for whatever reason for me, I can't stand the controls on Metroid and didn't get into Brain Age nearly as much as my fiancee.

All in all I'd say New Super Mario Bros is the most played and best game I've gotten for it and Castlevania comes in second.

The controls looked annoying for Starfox, how well does it play?

Just looks to much like how the controls are for Metroid, which I can't stand using the touch screen to control all moving in place of an analog stick, I'd rather use the D-Pad any day.

Trauma Center is too damned hard, but fun. I traded it in after I reached the part when the first person was flatlining with glass... (not a spoiler)

I finished New Super Mario Bros, which was a lotta fun. Mario Kart sucks ass, because if you have any big hands whatsoever, forget about powersliding properly.

I am just waiting for Zelda, and Final Fantasy III now. Can't wait.

Trauma center has the best use of the touch screen. It is a unique experience because you cannot even imagine a game like that working without the touch screen. It is a fun game, and it does get pretty hard. I consider it a must have for the ds just because you've never played a game like that before.

Hm, I have pretty big hands, and have done fine in Mario Kart. Of course, that's on the regular DS, not the Lite.

Kirby: Canvas Curse is great use of the touch screen as well.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is going back in print. If you look on Amazon they will have it back in stock September 19th.

Mario Hoops 3 on 3 just came out yesterday. I've got a copy on the way.

Advance Wars is fun, but I got stuck on the Pincer Strike level and gave up.

Animal Crossing always was a pleasant, laid back experience on the GC, so it should be good here. Metroid Pinball involved some combat, which takes some getting use to. Cooking Mama is "different". There is a new Dragon Quest game comming soon. Contact, is sort of like Earthbound I believe. Lost in Blue has you stranded on an island.

The DS is very interesting. Me personally, I'm waiting for some sort of Mr. Mosquito game to appear.
