Abnormally large....
How can I test for backlight issues? I want to make sure I don't have a bad unit? Thanks.

Select a black desktop background and turn off the lights. Look for glowing around the edges.

That Dell monitor sure looks and sounds delicious.. but anybody heard of the Envision 2028- 20" LCD with native of 1600x1200. any review or comments on this monitor?

Glowing around the edges? It sort of seems most if not all the screen is glowing. Is this an inherent feature of LCDS due to the backlighting?

Do you guys play at non native resolutions? Do you get the lag that some people complain about due to the dsp not being able to keep up with the scaling needed?

Congrats...

I just jumped on the 2005FPW deal for $395 shipped, and almost snagged the 2405 instead for $779...but it's still too steep for my blood. I can get two 2005FPW's for the cost of one 2405...

I'll wait until it gets down around $500...and it's been out for awhile so I get one from the later batches. It seems with LCD's it pays to wait until the model has been out for awhile, since it seems the early batches are more prone to pixel problems and things like backlight issues..

:)
