Ok, finally got my Proc and mobo but am missing the case and ram *boo*

AXDA21000DUT3C
AIUCB0239RPGW

so 0239

I would say I was dissapointed because I didnt get one of the "typical" good overclockers, but I also did a search on the OC page and see that no one has reported results with this puppy yet so it could be good or bad, anyone know anything about this, and how can you tell what "week" a cpu is?

yup

my JIUHB 1700+ kicked the living crap out of my JIUCB 1700+ by over 200 mhz

now if i could just get this stupid 0302 AIUHB 2100+ to work, i'd be happy :)

it boots at 2.3ghz.... but isnt stable, going to play with it more

BTW, does anyone know what it means if you get a BIOS ROM checksum error and it tries to read your floppy? I didnt do anything other than play with the multiplyer and FSB speed, and now it keeps giving me this error

AMD Identification and look @ it as a bonus not a requirement for anything over the rated speed...even @ 2.2GHz, that's like getting a 2700XP for the 2100XP price

did you flash the bios recently?
does it give you an option of ignoring and continueing atleast so you can get into windows?

Well my Epox Totally crapped out on me, but it looks like the processor will hit around 2300 max post, and probably 2200'ish stable...

if anyone wants to figure out whats wrong with my epox before i send it back, feel free to check this thread....

Epox owns you

Edit: Epox still owns you, but I saw your thread, C1 means memory error, not sure about C3, try resetting CMOS/resetting RAM. Epox makes the best o/c mobos so don't trash them because you screwed up your bios

Ok just for your info Epox Bios screwed itself up, and me flashing it with the recommended files from epox's own site rendered it utterly useless. Im not saying all Epox blow, but that board literally crapped out on me.... I've had boards from a lot of other manufacturers before and never run into this problem.

BTW. C1 does Not mean memory error, it means it is detecting memory, that is a standard code that happens everytime anyone boots up that motherboard, C3 means it is expanding the compressed bios on the chip into the DRAM memory which was just detected, 01 is the next step in the bios starting itself up, and that is where the problem occurs

If you posted just to get in your "Epox rules" comment, please refrain, and if you post claiming knowledge, try looking it up first so you dont sound stupid?

msi has instructions for making a bios recovery disc. don't know if the same procedure works for epox boards or not but it surely can't hurt to try it.
Bios recovery disk

the bios is corrupted to the point that it wont even get to the part where it looks for a floppy drive, but thanks for the suggestion
