I did better than you! Neener! Seriously though, 29 is FINE. Don't sweat the small stuff, and trust me, the ACT is a small thing.

Was that your first attempt? I made less than that my first time, but higher on my third.

Of course, I actually prepared a little bit for the third time. If you got a 29 after doing some prep work, your score may not increase by much.

Just because the ACT organization is located in Iowa City and you Iowans think it's the most important thing ever, doesn't mean it's so.

Honestly, if you write an excellent essay, have good grades and have an activity or two that you're really involved in (mine was cross country and track...I was a CC captain and a two-year varsity runner in both track and CC), you'll be fine.

If you PM me, I'll tell you my 'stats' and what schools I got into...you'll likely be surprised.
