Man, i just purchased a 2405 today. I don't even really need one! But the price was fantastic. Worst comes to worst, i'll just ship it back... it was free shipping anyways, and shipping it back will probably only be like $30.

Sell it.
I know most of you think your 2405s rock or whatever, but once you've used other monitors before coming to the 2405/2005 then you'll know they're not really quality monitors. Yes maybe I did spend $420 on a 19" panel, but damn right it's one of the best ones out there (Viewsonic VP191b). But now I know what clarity should be, color vibrance, etc..
I have a Dell 1800FP at work and use a Viewsonic VP201s as well. I prefer the 2005 to either.Originally posted by: DLeRium

I had the Sony 23" before the 2405. The Sony I do like better so I run dual monitors. Sony was 3x as much as the Dell though..

And it's 1280x1024.. same res as any old 17" but with big ass pixels. You could have bought a 20" 1600x1200 Samsung for that price.
