I ordered this sucker over 2 weeks ago, and it finally arrived today. I got it from Portableone.com, who offers upgrades. I initially ordered the computer with a 4 GB RAM upgrade (from 2 GB) and an SSD (30 GB OCZ Vertex Turbo). I was contacted by the company who informed me that the 30 GB drive was not enough space to operate Windows 7. I didn't want to pay an additional $150 for the 60 GB SSD, so I went with a 320 GB 7200 HHD (stock comes with 250 GB 5400). I guess I can always replace the drive later.
So...I get it today, open up the box and am greeted with a nice new shiny black computer with a huge handprint on it...pretty f***ing unprofessional in my opinion. Upon further examination, I noticed that there is a long scratch on the cover. It is barely visable and appears more in direct light...but still, a brand new computer with a scratch on it? The RAM upgrade is some brand I have never heard of, called "Nanya" and is PC6400s, which runs at 800 Mhz. The N330 processor has a FSB that runs at 533 Mhz. I don't know if this really matters, but I usually try to match these two specifications.
I haven't even turned it on. I'm strongly thinking I should just return it. Any opinions?
