Id like to get USAA, but my grand father(who served) thought I was asking too much for him to get a policy on a ring or gun(etc)

So who is a good company? should I just go around and get a quote from everyone?
 
You need to disown your grand father right now. Why is it any of his business what you want the policy to cover?

for me to get usaa, he would have to have an active policy, then my mom(his daughter) would have to get one, then I could get one

All he needs is one policy on anything and I could get it
