Just got kicked out of the house

Well, not kicked out of the house so much as cut off financially. I have to get a job and try and make it on my own now. I have to drop all of my classes and I lose my scholorships, but I only have them for one more year and I'm not graduating in a year. Plus I have to pay for a car/insurance/bills/food/everything. Life sucks. 😛
 
I'm 20 so I guess it's time. I only have $350 to survive on until....forever I guess. Good news is my apt is already paid for for the next month and a half.

Well.. If it makes you feel any better... That is what it took for me to straighten up.. Worked very well.

Sucked at the time. But now I am glad that my parents were smart enough to do it.

I'm glad I was out at 18. I think I have really gotten farther in the last 4 years than if I had stayed with my parents.

Job. Work. It's hard, but the only way. Like in Spiderman 2.
 
Have you considered trying to get a scholarhsip/applying to a different school?
Hell there are plenty that give free rides simply for getting decent SATS.
 
Step #1 Sell your car and cancel the insurance

Get a bus pass. A car is a waste when you are struggling and going to school.

Step #2 Stay in school. If you've gone this far then stick with it. Much harder to go back later. Get your timetables [from now on] down to like 3 days (pack in more stuff) like I do. Then you have 4 days you can work or 1 day off/3 days work (12 hour shifts).

I worked full time (security) and did school full time. It was hell but I made it through. But don't do it for more than one or two semesters as it kills you.

Yeah, now that I don't have anything to do with my life I think I may invest in a kegerator and a pot/soil. And I'm going to Mardi Gras in a week!! :beer:
