my car is serious cursed... just 2 days ago, someone changes 3 lanes at once... almost hit the front of my car, lucky i reacted fast and slammed on the breaks... i seriously am like the most catious and careful driver i know

and i know this by watching people i know drive.. they never use blinkers, change lanes in intersections... just very careless

I will admit whether your fault or not that is excessive. Are you taking your foot off the brake or do you keep easing forward at a red light? Being that you have been stopped 2-3 secs I wouldn't say you are stopping short, but I have seen alot of this with trucks trying to race a sports car to the red light light only to not have enough room to squeeze in front of him and nail the car in their lane.

I leave about a car length in front of me and I have had to use it more than once. Rarely, some asshat will go around you and squeeze into it, but that's the way it goes.

I think i leave enough space... in my 4 accidents, i have never hit the car infront of me... i was completely stopped..

i didnt call the police mainly because i got her info, and i was gonna call once i got to my job, since i was literally walking distance from the building... next year when the next lady hits my car, ill call the cops at the scene... :\

lol... the best part.. i was on the phone with the insurance company.. they said "did you get her dob?" i said "oh, i forgot... ooh wait!" and i open our employee search program, and i have all her info... pwned!

Maybe I should do that on my SUV. At least make them pay for hitting my car. This would be exceptionally handy for those jerks that like to do the bump and grind method when they parallel park.

do you think that is a good thing to get? cause when they hit the back of the car, they hit the bumper, which is made to take the impact and protect the car and myself... if you had a tow hitch, wouldnt that be connected to the frame, and put all the impact in one spot, making the damage worse in that area, which is actually the frame, rather than the bumper....
