I just got done sleeving my power supply. I think it turned out pretty nicely. I only sleeved the cables i need. Since i'm run an AMD setup I didn't even bother to sleeve the intel cables cuz i'm just gonna put those cables behind the motherboard tray. well here are the pics.

ok i think i got them to work

VERY nice. I'm too lazy and too intimidated to try this; bought some cheap split loom this weekend but may have to forget it and try to sleeve - alas, my 2 week vacation's over Thursday... Congrats!

it's actually not hard at all. just takes some time. it would have actually been a lot quicker but what took me so long was the heatshrink. the one that i bought just barely fit over the molex so i had to wiggle it for a while to get it on. ya'll should really try this cuz it helps with cable management and it looks really good.

How'd you do the 20-pin main power cable? Did you actually take that 20-pin connector off of the cable??? Or is it an Antec TruePower PSU and already sleeved?

That is pretty sweet. I was going to do that to a Nexus power supply yesterday but couldn't figure out how to get the mobo power connector off. I'll need to label them carefully also to make sure I put it back together correctly.

Any tips?

You need to use a fine needle basically, I actually cheated slightly by inserting the needle into the sides of the plug to slightly push in the metal tabs that keep them in place, not easy to do but it worked great and was just a matter of pushing the tabs back out so the pins are held back in place when putting it all back together.

I'm assuming it's already sleeved since it is a different color and all that. And it's not uncommon these days, my turbo cool PSU came sleeved (just the main connector).

Nice job with the heat shrink! I did one of my power supplies, but I didn't think of using HS like that!

ZeroCustom, i have a few questions: what size sleeving did u use? and what did u do at the wires that are coming out of the PSU? did u take the cover off the psu to sleeve them?
