Just got done installing my computer game collection

Yeah, I bought Daikatana when it came out. For a long time I didn't have it installed. I'd never really play it, it's just there because it's a part of PC gaming history. It's fun to load up every now and then to see what's wrong with it.
 
I have all my patches stored on a secondary backup hard drive. The game patch directory is 5 and 1/2 GB in size.
 
Why???

Do you actually play all of them?
Or did you just do that for kicks?

Seems like a waste of hard drive space to me.. I'm sure the fragmentation on that drive is not optimal at least..

But.. alot of good games on there at least. I'll give you some props on that! :thumbsup:

My RAID array isn't fragmented. I defragmented it after the installs. Plus the defrag utility will place the most commonly used files on the outer edges of the hard drives. And yes, I do load up some of them from time to time. Just yesterday I was playing X-Com UFO Defense and Duke Nukem 3D.

About 145GB. All are installed into the C:\Games\ directory except for the Steam games like HL and HL2.

I didn't like Pharoah enough to buy the expansion. To me it was an OK game, not great. It's one of the games on the list I have yet to finish.

I managed to play Pharoah on a P100 with 24MB RAM.
Load times were awful, but in game it played nice, despite being below recommended minimum specs 🙂
Great game.
 
I've owned most of those games at one time. Always sold them when I finished. Now I wish I would have kept some of them. 🙁

Undying is in there. Don't have C&C 1 though.
