Why order a personal order from an online sports store and have it shipped to your place of employment in an office building? I'm surprised your employer lets you do that.

Those pics are nothing. The Sketchers I bought in the store at Rack Room Shoes -- and the second pair they shipped to me both had far more wear on the shoe box packaging.

The pair that arrived by mail didn't have the memory foam (it was supposed to have it), so I went back to the store and then they actually had the right one in my size.

...and who the %##} cares about the shoe box?

Personally, I think it's rather dick to screw over a company on social media.

When someone makes a mistake or if something happens in the mail that they can't control - They should be given a chance to correct the issue before you go shaming them and trying to defame them in hopes public image makes them more likely to help.

Just give them a call first is all I ask. IF they screw you over after the call, THEN go social media.

Roadrunner ships all their shoe boxes in a plastic shipping bag. I have ordered from them multiple times and received my shoes in a not damaged box. I think the issue is the fact your package went Cali->NY->Cali->NY, which was 3x farther than it needed to go. Most boxes will only hold up to a certain amount of handling before buckling, and this one clearly got way more than it should have due to their error.

Their in-store service is significantly better than their online service.

OP, are you sure that company handles customer support issues through Twitter? Just because some do doesn't mean all do. The other thing is, did you contact them directly (I don't consider Twitter to be direct contact, I'm talking about their phone/e-mail support) first? I see you contacted them about the shipping issue but not sure if you did that once you received it.
I'm sorry but I think that a company has to be run by dinosaurs if they think having a social media presence will not automatically lead to 60 years old who don't know how social media/the internet works sending complaints to their public page.

You know, like people who start a conversation with their niece in the comments below a photo or something like that, they think writing on a facebook page is the same as walking into the store and talking to an employee.
