Got the boxed set this morning at Best Buy and it rocks.

How many seasons were there? I probably started watching Seinfeld at just the point when they quit. I've seen a lot of the reruns, but there's a lot I've never seen. I agree that the series is virtually timeless (at least, so far), and it works today. How likely am I to have seen most of the episodes from Seasons 1 & 2 (or 3, for that matter)? Do they show them as much as the later stuff? I see it on Fox - KTVU, Channel Two out of Oakland, CA.

Is season 3 better than 1 & 2? You can get 1 & 2 for about the same as you get 3 at Amazon.com. Wonder what the gift set has over getting the non-gift sets.

Seinfeld and the Simpsons are the only sitcoms I EVER watch. I think that Seinfeld is more consistent, though, but that could just be me.... I think I've been more blown away by the Simpsons, which when great is just phenomenal. Again, that could just be me. 🙂

Anyone know when the Best Buy $25 certificate expires? The date on mine is just some long number 😛

Oh, I don't know. Right now I'd rather wait for shipping than fight a BF crowd at BB. Waiting's no biggie for me, anyway. It's not like I don't have things to do in the meantime.... 🙂 Still haven't ordered. Right now I'm leaning to the 2 separate sets rather than the gift set. Salt shakers and a script for $12? Naw. My email is d+musicant at pacbell dot net. Well, I can try. If I don't get any love, I'll just straight up order.

Not certain it was the best idea, but it looked like I couldn't lose - I put the Season 1&2 set and Season 3 set in my cart and went to purchase and was offered an additional $30 "promotional" discount if I opened an Amazon.com Visa card account and made a purchase of over $30. I did that, so I got both sets for a total of around $35. The card looks like it might be OK to use at least on Amazon.com, provided you buy enough stuff, that is. It looks like you get around 3% back via a $25 Amazon.com coupon once you spend $833.33 (at Amazon.com --- you get 1/3 that credit toward the coupon with expenditures made elsewhere). Well, it was good for a $30 discount off the bat, and there's no annual fee so why not?
