Just got banned from Twitter for 12 hours.

I responded to a comment on an Andrew Coine twitter post telling him to fuck off.

I said fuck you.

My post was up for 12 hours before I got the notice.
Obviously somebody reported me.

Now twitter want me to jump through loops to regain access.

I wonder if the fuck trudeau crowd gets the same treatment?

Anybody else getting banned?

I'm actually surprised I haven't caught a ban since #ApartheidJack took over. I often respond to his (and others of his ilk) bullshit with vulgarity and less than flattering memes/pics. But, I have next to no followers as I'm not chasing clout or anything. I have been blocked by Eric Trump for reminding him he stole $$$ from a charity for kids with cancer though. That's apparently not an exclusive club though.
 
You only got 12 hours so it could have been worse. If you'd said something more grossly offensive like "Elon Musk is a poopoo caca peepee head" you likely would have received the dreaded permaban.

FWIW, I was trying to get banned last week by talking shit about Elon, both in my own tweets and responding to other's tweets. But as @Pens1566 pointed out, I have no followers and no attention from anyone. I rarely visit the site, and even rarer that I'll retweet anything. My own tweets about Musk were my first original tweets ever on my account. Unlikely Musk would ever see any of my entries.

same here except I have an account but have never posted, created so I could follow a few posters I like.
 
Obviously it's people doing the censoring and there must be thousands of them if they have the time to block me. I hardly have any follower but I retweet a lots of criticism of the MAGA/Qanon/Anti Vaccine/freedumb crowd. I get a few likes for it.

They are despicable, dishonest, deluded people in my view.
 
Like a huge number of self hating men who attain great external statue and fame, Trump and Musk as examples, those unrecognized feelings emerge unconsciously in the form of self destructive death wishes. They are unconsciously driven to experience the only cure there is to narcissistic delusions of grandeur, public exposure to withering humiliation.
 
CORRECTION

I logged-in twitter this morning and was presented with the offending post.

It was about the Trump supported candidates who were defeated in the election.

I sugested we made 3D printed busts and hang them on a wall like dear heads.

I think this is rather hilarious.

BUT: The "hang them" part can be misinterpreted I suppose. The AI at work. Or my bad english.

Anyway, they made me delete the tweet personaly and warned that I may be permanently banned if it happen again.

I thought this was a case of " I said Fuck You/They Said Good By". I guess not.

I would have replied "IDGAFrak" and closed by comparing Musk to a slimy lipless Gollum-wannabe.

The world would be a better place if Twitter just died.

Not like I can't just make fake accounts with throwaway emails using a VPN if I felt like they rated trolling ... as is however I don't give one single crap about Twitter.

Sound slike someone is mad that a private company has been made to admit colluding with government officials to deny people their first amendment rights and influencing elections and public health concerns. Jim Baker was still trying to suppress the truth until being once again removed from employment in disgrace.
