Tell me what wasn't factual from my post? Sorry, but we know that the government was guiding social media and other news outlets in regards to what is "misinformation".

Wrong. Conservatives can't handle a world where facts create areas of uncertainties that discomfort their ego identifications. Liberals are obsessed with the notion they somehow have the self reflection to be able to see that and experience shame. Liberals are unable to see that when their vaunted sacred cow 'reason' is under attack they act just the same, dent deny deny the reality of conservative behavior. Conservatives grew up in a world where even a whisper of truth could bring down violent punishment. You managed to hang onto you contempt of authority. No compassion for the other on either side.

Welcome to the club. LOL.

Haven't had a ban since Musk took over myself but after getting 2 previous ones I've been more careful with my choice of words. Hard to tell how far his freedom of speech really goes, as people are still getting banned. I think it's a fine balance of trying to let people speak freely while trying not to lose too many advertisers.

Yes, that's very much what social media is about. Money.

Musk cloaking his thin skin in "free speech" is just fodder for the trolls that think social media works any other way.

Social Media giants like Facebook and Twitter allowed violations of their in-writing terms of service for years and years. So the end result of that is when they actually started to enforce those ToS (which very few average joe's read), it appeared on the surface to be a bad practice. Again, very few people read the ToS.

If you think the RWNJ sites are shoring up free speech, then you'd also be wrong.

I responded to a comment on an Andrew Coine twitter post telling him to fuck off.

I said fuck you.

My post was up for 12 hours before I got the notice.
Obviously somebody reported me.

Now twitter want me to jump through loops to regain access.

I wonder if the fuck trudeau crowd gets the same treatment?

Anybody else getting banned?
Just got "permanently suspended" (for about the 14th time.)

Some Magat made a comment about Joe Biden sniffing his grandkids hair. I replied by saying: "at least he doesn't piss in his own gene pool." And I got reported.

The picture probably had something to do with it though.:D

Sound slike someone is mad that a private company has been made to admit colluding with government officials to deny people their first amendment rights and influencing elections and public health concerns. Jim Baker was still trying to suppress the truth until being once again removed from employment in disgrace.

weird, that seems like a pretty standard comment online, a ban seems like your free speech is being violated lol

If they don't restore it, no biggie. I just log on to my phone site, change the number on my burner phone, change the burner email, use a VPN and create a new account.

It's my will against theirs, and they WILL lose.

How is that against the rules? Obviously just another bunch of whiney RWNJs. Just like all the rednecks here (in Oklahoma) they have no problem saying whatever the fuck they want, but you better not say anything they deam offensive, especially about Christianity or Guns.

He doesn't provide evidence or proof of his claims, at least not from unbiased and factual outlets.
Holy crap it's amazing how well propaganda works.
Their trick is to project, and ignore any and all inconvenient (to their feels) facts, create their own from thin air and proclaim their fake facts from the mountain top as if it's indisputable...and proceed to provide no proof whatsoever, and act like they never saw the requests for such.

Oh btw, yOu'Re tHe CrAzY fAsCiStS aNd rACiStS bEcAuSe rEaSoNs!!1

Musk Mantra: "Free speech for me and not for thee."
That's basically the entire fucking GOP now though. But they claim that Dems are the ones trying to suppress and destroy free speech.

I entertain caveats with regard to Free Speech.

I have a theory that our technology has put our form of government in peril be making possible a degree of unlimited communication that the Founders never imagined. And I believe that they conceived of "The Legislator" as a Leader who "represented" his district or state, assuming from the times in which they lived that these legislators would be remotely removed from their voting constituency and able to seek the best interests of their total constituency. But today's political leaders -- some of them -- are really just mindless Followers seeking a next term in office.

Further, I don't think Elon Musk has the slightest idea about any of it.

Free Speech? Fine. Get yourself a soapbox and hold forth in a public park. Of course, you can't prohibit anyone from having their own web-site. But can you regulate what they say on that web-site?

The proliferation of Nonsense poses extra costs to the public. Of course, you could say "who can judge what is nonsense and what isn't?"

Ah. But as for the use of four-letter words and civility. Civility was evaporating from our public discourse at some point in the 1990s, yet few may have seen it.

After what we've "suffered" over the last six years, who doesn't want to salt their language with a few special words? Bad behavior has become normalized in several respects.

That's because he does not care. At all.

Attention is the trolls only objective.

Got a new account yesterday, which means starting from scratch with all my followers. But for some reason, I just don't feel as motivated to rebuild as I did before. Between the MAGATs looking to mass report, and all the other drama, it's starting to look more and more like Facebook.
