Just got back from watching S.W.A.T.

It wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. a little on the long side..but almost nonstop action all the way through. So I give it...1 thumb up. It was enjoyable and just a bit fun.

I'll add "Spoilers" to my title if anyone wants to talk about the movie more in depth.

i dunno. I'm not very critical of movies...unless they REALLY suck. So my opinion wouldn't really count. maybe wait for other people who've seen it to come in and give their two cents?

Critics actually liked it. It seems all action flicks this year are on the long side, just as long they are not dragged out long.

Just have to pick a place with comfy seats.

face it dude, inflation, 1 million dollars isn't THAT much money anymore. i mean it's a lot of money, but not enough to drive a whole city crazy.

btw, i enjoyed the film but i also am not a highly critical person. i enjoy most films.

i'll finish watching it tommrorow grr.




the new trailer for the texas chainsaw massacure was pretty well put together though

freaky friday got two thumbs up too hah.

the movie could've been better. it sucks, IMO. I have to waste $6 and drive to theater to see it. i can simply download it, if it is not that overhyped.

I saw it tonight with a friend, and we were both pleasantly surprised by it.

I try not to be TOO finicky about action movies, which I don't expect to be brilliant, but sometimes they annoy me by beating me over the head with how stupid they are. This one didn't. I know that sounds like faint praise, but it isn't. SWAT was reasonably intelligent, often witty, and had great action. On balance I liked it quite a bit for what it was.
