It was awful. It wasn't the "so awful that it's good" kind of awful, it's just awful. I've seen the bad acting clips on youtube, but the random lines of dialogue and editing was truly atrocious. There is a fascination with roses, a football, and people saying they don't want to talk about it in that movie. Random characters would appear in scenes with no explanation of why they were there or how they were related to the main characters. Lastly, it seems like every 10 minutes, there's a softcore sex scene (yes, you do get to see boobies).

The theater was filled with nerds who have seen it multiple times. They brought spoons to throw at certain scenes--I still don't understand why they did that. Also, there was much talking and comments meant to secure laughs from the audience, which annoyed the hell out of me since I was actually trying to listen to the dialogue and figure out the obscure plot. I thought the audience would've made the viewing experience more enjoyable, but they were so distracting that it added to the awfulness of the movie itself.

Don't be curious. Don't waste your time.

i saw that movie..... holy crap it's bad. acting is bad, plot is worse, everything about it.... but it has a cult following, that's how bad it is. as for the spoons, there are pictures of spoons in various frames throughout the movie.... that's when the plastic spoons get thrown

Now that I think about it, I saw some throughout the movie. It's still bad.

Because there are framed pictures of silverware and they obviously selected terrible props.

I remember this part:

Mother:
"The results came back. I have cancer."
Daughter:
"It's fine. Don't worry about it." 😀

Lotta "love" for that movie...numerous theaters around the country will run a monthly midnight showing. I remember reading about a few that ran WEEKLY showings (successfully!) for a while.

Boggles the mind.
