Just got back from my cousin's wedding.

none of that is really impressive. The real estate agent is probably in for a rude awakening if not already. A 1.4 Million dollar house is not that great today esp since there is not a real way to determine it's value in this market until it sells.

X3 is entry level BMW SUV.

When you have two people in a realtionship both in above average jobs disposable income goes a LONG way esp if neither took on large amounts of debt.

I don't get the slideshow at the wedding though. What was it a brag and moan feast?
No kidding. I read recently that the real estate industry went from 800,000 jobs five years ago to 1,400,000 jobs today (I have to double check those numbers) where it had been relatively steady for the decade before that. Now that it's contracting there will be a lot of people new to the industry that are going to have to find a new line of work.

What was your cousin's degree in? Does she have something to fall back on outside of real estate?

That couple sounds too perfect. But I do find their success absolutely fascina...zZZZzZZzzzZZzzzzzzZZZzzzzzzZzzz

I'm surprised you're not used to it yet honestly.

I went through the same thing, and it used to tear me apart inside until I realized that's just the way it is and didn't let it bother me anymore.

I confronted my mother about it once, I got the comment of why can't you be more like xyz and I said straight to her face "why don't you go ask xyz's mom if you can adopt him?"

Now, it's not like they stopped after that, but I stopped caring about what they said. And you know what? I turned out pretty damn well, and now I'm the one that all my aunts/uncles use to make their kids feel like $hit. It's a never ending cycle, it's who we are. Accept it and overcome it.
