Just got back from Montana

I'm disappointed, I didn't see anyone carrying a gun :|

Saw this guy in Glacier National Park.. happy moose is happy :awe:

Do a lot of people in Montana carry guns stereotypically?

Moose is awesome :awe:

Montana subsidizes gun purchases to keep crime low. You only need to pay about 65% the normal cost for a firearm there. Volume discounts too so you can bring the whole family to the gunshop.

At first glance it looked like someone was proselytizing the fish.

Anyway, Montana is a bit like Wyoming. Everyone has guns, many carry guns, but it is not a big deal. Wearing a gun is like wearing a belt, folks just do it.

If you were looking for guns-as-religion you need to head to Idaho or Arizona.

Did your Mommy let you shoot at it with your Airsoft?
Or did your Step-Dad even allow you to take one with you?

I don't have an airsoft gun.

I was considering taking my AR15 (a real one, chambered in 5.56x45) so I could take off the maglock and shoot it with some 30 rounders but we were only up there for a couple of days so there wasn't enough time.

Also I don't approve of shooting animals for sport. I've heard moose burgers are tasty though 😛

edit: Also my mommy and stepdad weren't even there :hmm: Sorry jupiter57.

I wouldnt use 223/5.56 on a moose. Thats just mean and evil.

Absolute minimum would be a 308 and probably something larger. With big fat hollow points.

Err yeah I wasn't going to shoot the moose with a 5.56 that can barely kill gophers :awe:

I think my Mosin Nagant in 7.62x54r would do the trick, I've read they use those in Russia to hunt elk and bears.

Yeah, it's one of the more conservative states which tend to be more gun friendly.

there are no cities, so everyone lives in the country. therefore, they're conservative because they're not as well-educated and they are more gun-friendly because they need guns to hunt animals and to kill predators for survival.

Err, i don't believe you would shoot anything!
I do believe you have to be at least 16 to get a hunting license, & usually at least 18 to even OWN a (real) gun.

Those liberals with their fancy "Woman's Studies" and "Communications" degrees are obviously superior to the plumbers and mechanics and farmers with no college education.

Schneiderguy must have heard that Montana is a place where men are men...and the sheep are nervous...so he went to visit the sheep.

Pic related, it's my (real) gun with (real) rounds.

Owned.

I love it when big-city pussies are scared of guns. I bet they wet themselves at night just knowing that we are one of the most heavily-armed countries in the world, if not the most.

I live in Commiefornia, but if I hear a window break downstairs, you know I'm coming down with the safety off.
