Me and 3 other ATers just got back from London after being there for 9 days. We had lots of fun, and we're all tired. People in London are unfriendly, ugly, and most need a toothbrush. Food was great, and everything but the changing of the guard was awesome.

Where did/will everyone else go for spring break/vacation?

yeah braces are not a popular thing over there. I saw this hot chick in london until she open her mouth. man, what a waste!

Yes, but even the 'British' food was good. I actually learned to use chopsticks in London:)

Sorry, I really don't agree. The 4 of us all felt that way, we did meet about 5 nice people, but most people seemed very unhappy, unhelpful and unfriendly. In Windsor, the people were much nicer, nothing like London.

i live in london, and as an adult you get to read people like a book when you meet them, perhaps they saw you coming a mile-off.

I was born in London and venture home yearly. From a Londoner's perspective you're just another tourist. Think how you'd feel if your home turf was constantly full of throngs of tourists.

I live in Chicago, at least here we help people out when they have a question, not blow them off. I've always loved British history and culture, and I went there with an open mind. Maybe it was because I was from America, I don't know.

For the record...I disagree. Just consider for a moment that London has one of the highest percentages of expats in the world and you'll see that your British stereotypes don't work.

I found the people very friendly went I was in London.

As to ugly I suppose your a super model.
