Just got back from HIN...Guess who I saw today...

I just got back from the Hot Import Nights in Boston tonight [as of 3:05am] link

Now, I really don't give two crap about bunch of ricers and plastic barbie doll models but I ended up going anyway to spend time with my friends.

The show was ok... the whole time I was regretting how I paid $25 to get in, but all that changed until I noticed someone...

Jin the rapper was there! He was hosting the freestyle battle where bunch of next-door amateurs duked it out. Most battles were mediocre, some people couldn't even rhyme or several even choked.

The first place of the contest was some white kid who actually knew what he was doing and Jin offered to have a battle with him! The crowd went crazy....... the kid picked on Jin's purple clothing and how he sucks as a ruff ryder... an honorable effort.

Jin ripped him to shreds in return... called him "Ashton Kutcher from K-mart" and some more remarkable disses that made the crowd go utterly wild.

All in all, great night. I'll upload all the pictures and VIDEOS of hot models, cars, and Jin sometime after I sleep...

🙂

Haven't been to a HIN in years, but that'd be cool seeing Jin in person unexpectedly. Any nice memorable cars?

i still got Jin's first appearance on 105 and Park battle somewhere on my computer. he totally ownz that black dude, but damn he really got no sense of fashion (Orange pullovers, he looks like a cross between Naruto and Tigger). and I pity his poor record sales. didn't he had TWO albums already?

I partially blame american media... maybe it's a deep-rooted racism among americans... (for a TOTAL lack of a better word) Can you believe to this day and age, NO asian man/woman has yet to break into the american media? (esp. music industry)

Name any real stars outside of kungfu crap.

can you host? or anyone?!?

They're not that good. My dumbfvck canon wouldn't let me record for more than 10 sec each. Everything is cut off and you really can't make out what he's saying due to the sucky mic.

It's still good for the wow factor though..

that list is very sad and a real sobering look at the reality. The 80s show? There's no asian kid.

that's why talented asian-americans usually learn chinese and bolt for asia to become stars. case in point, wang lee hom

like jay chow, he's got the musical and vocal talent than many many asian pop stars do NOT have, yet he would have failed miserably in america. sad to say, his music has gotten 'urban' lately and he flashes an oversized silver dragon ornament like a dollar sign in his mtvs, much to my dismay. but he's still better than 95% of the taiwanese/hong kongese pop stars out there.
