If this is the best movie you've seen in five years, you must watch a lot of crummy movies. It was pretty good, but was most definitely not an amazing film. It was shot using a combination of tape and film and has a unique look about. It's worth a matinee.

Any scene with gunfire was shot well and very exciting, esp. when he gets his briefcase back from the thugs. I really enjoyed the film until about 3/4 of the way into it, when Max sees Vincent's computer info. Then suddenly it turned from a raw, gritty action drama into a ridiculous and formulaic Hollywood ending.
