Estimated 20,000 people showed up here in Seattle, it was really cool. Got some video and pics, will post soon.

It's only a matter of time before it reaches critical mass all over the world, then Bush will just be digging his own grave.

I wonder how many people are still going to be Anti-War when Saddam lobs a nuke at Israel... or Korea lobs one at LA... or terrorists set one off in NY. Damn hippies.

Well, no offense meant, but these war protests are not only pointless, they're dangerous, IMO. The war on terrorism and Iraq is fully justified and it's a pity to see it delayed b/c some European nations are against it. What are the reasons to protest? Saddam killed, destroyed and tortured millions and millions of people. Do you know what an average monthly income of a Iraq citizen is like? IIRC, smth about $3, 4 times less than in Cuba. That's just terrible, isn't it? That is b/c of Hussein policy and ruling. I don't understand how someone can be against the war.

Yeah, we'll see if you tree huggers still think Saddam is better than Bush when Iraq starts taking strikes at us. You idiots can go over and kiss Saddam right on the cheek if you love him so much.

What business of ours is that? If they felt there was a threat, they would attack Iraq themselves, and probably ask us for help, in which case our involvement would be acceptable. Mainly a matter of principle there.

or Korea lobs one at LA...
What does that have to do with Iraq?

or terrorists set one off in NY.
Again, what does that have to do with Iraq?

Damn hippies.
Damn brainwashed sheep.

If Saddam launches a weapon against Israel, it will be in response to the US attacking.

Geez some of you are really harsh. Why can't you accept differences in opinion?

They are making the case for their own intolerance, good thing most of the world disagrees with them.

Well, I have to partly agree, war is a very bad thing, but not in this case. I don't feel absolutely no sympathy towards Saddam and those who support him. These terrorist guys are far worse than communists.

I went to one earlier today as well. Some guys I work with and I made a bunch of signs and stood out in the cold across the street from the anti-war protesters

Our signs said:

"Nuke em till they glow, then shoot em in the dark"

"Read the Old Testament. God likes war"

"Remeber 9/11"

"We've got to try to keep our heads until this peace craze blows over"

"Terrorists attacked us first"

"Saddam gassed his own people"

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. "

"No one can kill Americans and brag about it. No one."

"Peace and Love after we kill the bastards"

"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition"

"America cannot be an ostrich with it's head in the sand"

"Hippies suck"

wow, it's funny... there were all these protests during the first Gulf War and all these protests before action in Afghanistan......

all these predictions of dire calamity... yet, none of them surfaced.

something tells me a similar thing will happen this time.

i dont begrudge the anti-war protestors (though i do begrudge the vitriol they spew at times) their right to free speech.

i just think it's foolish to point at anti-war protests and automatically assume that they are right. most of those people are career leftists and dissidents who would just as soon like to see america nuked as saddam overthrown in a bloodless coup.

the bottom line is that in some circumstances, war is an absolutely legitimate tool that states need to use to protect their interests and security. that is what america is doing and, when all is said and done, the anti-war crowd will see how stupid and backward they were.

*sigh* So you're one of the brainwashed sheep that thinks expressing an opinion that differs from Bush's means you support Saddam... I see.

Added the tape stated no tie between Bin Laden and Saddam, rather an "anti-tie" I would say...saying that Saddam was not for the Muslim people and should be removed...of course he'd hope the Government that was replaced was pro-him.

The only link the tape shows was that Bin Laden is pro the Iraqi people, and if you didn't know that, being that most Iraqi's are Muslim, then you need to get your head out of your ass.

But to the original poster, way to express your opinion, don't worry about the sheep blindly following a leader that is going to take us into World War III.
