the ratio has been 1:1 for the last three freshman classes... apparently the administration noticed that this was the main complaint and they actually managed to fix it! amazing! now if only they could make RIT into a decent school...Originally posted by: Yossarian congratulations! four years of nasty engineering females, each of which has 8 guys trailing behind her![]()

So RIT is pretty good? They kept sending me sh1t but I ended up staying in California. Thinking it was good considering all these nasty women comments.
By no means is it a bad school. But for my major (Comp Sci), and to get accepted to UIUC which has one of the best Comp Sci Departments in the nation, it was a no brainer. Here's some RIT stats in US News:

Woo RIT!! I don't know whether to be happy or sad for you. On one hand it's a pretty good school, but on the other hand it can be a miserable atmosphere. The winter is brutal, and there's a lackof girls, (except there's more and more girls with each freshman class.. and the majority of the girls in the school are in buildin 7, where the New Media Major is)
Anyways, i think you'll have a good time if you're a cool guy... cool people always tend to seek each other out in a tech school...
So, any rochesterians got plans for the spring? Anyone livin' around Park ave and Culver?!
