it might be misinterpreted as being condescending. I couldn't care less personally, but maybe that's what the problem is.
I dont like online chicks that don't even know me call me hon or whatever term of endearment they use, because it sounds that they are cheap and slutty? or is it just me??

I have to watch out who I address as "hon", "hun", or any other pet name that might happen to be in my mind at the moment.
Some people love them, some people don't mind them, and some people hate them. I like them, I guess... just have to watch out who you use them around.

honestly, i really dont like the term "hon" just because one person that i HATED used to call me that, so now it annoys me when anyone calls me that... hell i would rather be called...well, other things
