I've had the 8600 for a couple of years now. It's cool but my screen has started to get messed up. There is a line through the picture where the image is corrupt. Dunno why but sometimes it goes away on it's own and other times it doesn't. :(

Yeah, it uses the IP-bus. You can do aux in with that.

I have a P80MP. Nice unit once you turn off all the damned animations. My biggest gripe about it is that while you can adjust the brightness of the OLED display itself, there appears to be no way to dim the LED backlight for the knob. Took a while for me to get used to it at night.

if you got that off of ebay, 20 bucks says it was mine a couple months ago.
exact same thing got ganked from my truck.
good news is it;s definately a good unit

Nice unit. Would look better if you waited to take pics with it installed :p. I love my Pioneer unit, have installed Pioneer units in every car I've ever owned (3 and counting). I'm currently rocking with the 2-year old 7700MP. Maybe I'll upgrade sometime in the next year or so, but I have all the confidence that my current unit will last fine until I get rid of the car.

very nice, i like my old school alpine 9815 . time alignment, 3 way crossover with slope adjustment, 20-20khz 1/3 octave Peq.

nice. i think i am going to try this one out next month when i do my audio overhaul. on a somewhat related note, does anyone have some suggestions for some good 5-1/4" speakers under $150? I think i am just going to go with some Alpine Type-S's, they're only $95...

I had a choice to get either one, but I chose the 860mp. It's because I can go active with it.

The 880 can go active as well.
