Just got a new Dell 620 and the fan is so loud and annoying

The other thing you may want to do eventually is open the laptop up, remove the stock TIM/paste crap on the CPU/GPU, and replace with a thin layer of AS5. That alone dropped my I6000D's temperatures over 10C...
