I have pretty much no experience doing this, but they said they were willing to train me. I feel pretty lucky and I know If I stick with this I could end up learning some pretty valuable skills. Just monitoring a ticket system @ the moment and responding to random user problems. Pretty soon I'll get access to the web hosting side server via SSH to troubleshoot, poke around, etc.

I banned my first spammer today! 😀

I started a new account just for work because I'm paranoid.

You should lower your expectations, if you fuck up during your probation period, you will be fired. Most people making stupid posts will. We check forums, facebook, twitter and so on to see if the new hires are saying anything bad about the company.

Print it out and out the door they go.

Not sure if you are inferring that my post is stupid? I don't really go on facebook, twitter, etc. I sincerely doubt if I fuck up once that they will instantly fire me. 😵

Low, but I'm not in a position to complain when I have ZERO experience and they are training me. I think proving my self quickly will bump it up considerably, considerably quick, but I'm not going to raise my expectations for THAT. 😛

St. Bernardus ABT? Piraat? Cigar City Jai Alai? Now THAT would be an awesome company. My last job always had beer but it was plain old Heineken, and mostly for customers, though he occasionally passed em out on fridays.
