I did read the thread, still don't understand why you used quotes around the word real.

No problem, you probably just missed it.

I was told I should be using a CC instead of my check/debit card, to which I responded I use prepaid CCs for online purchases to which I was told I should use a real CC to which I replied I have several "real" CCs. Real CCs being lines of credit with some sort of lending institution that do not require up front capital to use, unlike a prepaid card.

I'll have to find it but I did read somewhere that they kept finding credit card skimming machines installed in gas stations. Someone has a key and is swapping out their swiping unit for theirs.
