Just got a call from exGF. Someone called her looking for me

My exGF just called me, saying someone called her looking for me. He asked for me by my full name.

Why is this a big deal?

1. she has an unlisted phone number.
2. I don't give her phone number out to anyone. period.
3. I have her number memorized, so it is not written down anywhere.

So how did someone that knows me have her number?

And why didn't they just call me, as I am in the phone book?

I talk to her all the time, so there is no reason to make an excuse to talk to me.
