Just got a Aeron chair!

I was surprised I was able to find one for so cheap. I just got lucky being in the right place at the right time. Its not brand new but fully adjustable.

I've had my eye on one because I spend all day in my chair, but for some reason haven't been able to justify it to my wife 😉

Well I had to look twice because I didn't believe at first it was a Aeron chair because they were only selling it for $250. Made sure before getting it though because I knew if it was in was one great deal!

I remember when taking home a bunch of these chairs back in 2000 when a dot com that my friend worked for went out of business and we just took everything from their office.

Wow. Are there different versions of the Aeron chair or only one basically?

There are different versions. There is a broken one at my work. I wish they'd let me take that home and fix it.. 🙁

What are the differences?

They make them in different sizes and different adjustment systems (lever or wheel knob). Different finishes and colors as well.

Does this make a huge difference in comfort or is it just a personal preference thing?

Good find.

I find it kinda ridiculous at how much chairs cost most of the time.

I myself would much prefer a lazy boy, if I had the cash.

LMAO, the chair in your picture? I bought one that looks EXACTLY like it at Sam's Club for $129

There's more to a chair than just looks.

On topic, I've never heard of the Aeron name before, but after looking at the OP's pic, a couple of people at work have these. Apparently they make you go through some ordeal about proper posture and reviewing your work area before they'll let you have one. Since I work second shift, I typically just borrow one while everyone else is gone 😀. They are definitely an awesomely comfortable chair, and the controls are fantastic.

It could. If you get a small sized chair and you're too big for it, I could definitely see that as being uncomfortable. 😛
