I'm really stuck between some monitors. After reading thread after thread between here and other forums im going to break down.
I almost settled for the fw900 which I still might get but then more ideas came up.
Do i wan't a dual setup of two 19's.
Do I want a dell 20.1
Do i want to sell everything in my room and get the dell 24...or two fw900s

I know bigger is better but I like the idea of dual screens even maybe triple 17's or 19's.
I game a lot on some weeks and not on others depending on the workload.
I haven't watched a lot of dvds but with a new set up how sweet it would be.
Do you see the confusion this causes. Now read this over and over top down, down top and you will see where my head thought process is.

Show me why your setup is better then the others. Back it up with some pictures : )

dell 20.1 is a great monitor for the price ~$350
dual 19' setup if you work with graphics
24' great if you can get it for ~ $650
check hot deal forum, you can't go wrong with any of these monitor/setups.

you have to keep in mind that in order to use high res monitors you need really high end vid cards. Try playing FEAR or COD2 @ 1900x1200 on a 7800 GT...

You need some SERIOUS hardware to run that.

So what about the dell 24 vs fw900. I mean i would think brillance, screen size, power consumption, and desk size are the downfalls.
Is it really worth paying double for this from what im gathering ill be better with the CRT Im using a 19" 997df now and feel that its brilliant enough for me.

FW900 - only way to get both screen size and the ability to play newest games at good frame-rates without a X1900XT crossfire type setup. That said, if you have an X1900XT Crossfire setup, then get the 2405.

20.1"......I have it and it's good enough. The major problem in getting a very good LCD monitor is that your system have to be able to run it on the native resolution...thus, expect to be upgrading your video card every year if you get anything larger than 20" unless you like playing old games and/or with low quality.
