Just getting out of HS, need to make a resume

Yeah, as a HS graduate alot of your job hunt will be by foot. Simply sending in a resume by computer is suicide considering you don't have the educational and job experience wanted by big employers you most undoubdetly want to get hired by. Temper your ambitions and work basic jobs while in college.
 
When making your word Doc, make sure it is in a format that an automated script can pull the information from. Don't use a table or weird formatting. A good litmus test is to save it as a .txt and see if it is still legible.
 
How can any office expect you to have PDF versions of your resumes? Most people don't even know how to make PDFs of their documents.

When I was job hunting, I just sent our my resume in Word doc format or plain text.
